HOW TO VOLUNTEER



  1. Email BelperStreetangels@gmail.com to introduce yourself and declare interest in the project.
  2. A Volunteers Pack can be downloaded at the link at the bottom of this page and it contains two forms to fill in. These can be sent back to your co-ordinator who is Tony via the address above.
  3. Come along one night and see if Street Angels is for you (email Tony on the email address above to arrange this. With Julie, he will handle your application and arrange an observer round for you.)You will accompany the Belper Street Angels on patrol as an observer so that you can test whether this is for you.
  4. We will ask you to complete a DBS (Criminal Record Bureau) check and supply appropriate ID.  Julian Hodgson will be your point of contact for this. 
  5. Once the references and DBS are verified, and with no outstanding issues, you are on team. We will contact you.
  6. You will be given a link to the online diary so that you can enter your name for Fridays that you want to patrol.  You will be able to read our night out reports. 
  7. All volunteers will be regularly trained and reviewed.
